Served with distinction in the Kursk Offensive, 1943. 2ND INFANTRY DIVISION Became 12th Panzer Division. 3RD INFANTRY DIVISION Became 3rd Panzergrenadier Division. 7TH INFANTRY DIVISION 4TH INFANTRY DIVISION Became 14th Panzer Division.
